SOLVABLE MYSTERIES by Scarlett
Here lie accounts of devious happenings, with the details therein that—upon dissection and examination and investigation—will reveal the culprit.
Inspired by classic cosy detective novels such as those of Agatha Christie, these are not simple riddles but long, detail-rich murder mysteries. Each case challenges you to spend multiple hours, rereads, and maybe even sets of notes to solve it. They were originally written to be played in groups of around 4 - 6 players, though can also take more or less. A group of at least 2 is recommended for the experience of bouncing ideas between multiple people, but particularly enterprising individuals are welcome to try on their own.
Each mystery pack contains the case itself (main story), full instructions, and supplemental materials that should be read and considered at different times. All downloads are available for free below. Once you're done, the solution packs are available on gumroad.com, also for free or for however much you choose.

Sins of the Father, the Daughter, the Son
On the outskirts of an English town, in the year 1874, four people gathered in a stately family manor. The instigator of the gathering was Terrill Connaught, a resident of the manor in question along with his younger sister Gabrielle. Their older brother Lawrence, who lived in town, was a visitor that night, as was Terrill’s fiancée Alina Charles who was also staying in town. Martin Connaught, master of the house and father to the three siblings, was not invited to the night’s proceedings—which were to be a séance.

Three for a Girl, Four for a Boy
At a little after 6am on a balmy autumn morning in 1898, the morning gardener at the Harper Countryside Inn glanced through a window from outside. What he saw had him running back to the main entrance and banging down the door. The total cast of people present overnight at the inn, which usually had a total of 9 guest rooms, was as such: Mister Frederick and Missus Cara Harper, Mister Parker and his younger sister Miss Anna Fontaine, and the Harpers’ friend Doctor Paul Greene. They were all questioned separately from each other.
